Assembly was simple and took about 20 minutes. The tools included work, but using your own wrench makes it quicker. The instructions are fine, although better images would help. Still, it's easy enough to figure out. After using it once, I noticed the latch can be a bit annoying to open if soil or compost builds up around the edge. Not a big deal, just something to expect. The roller works really well. It breaks up clumps and filters out rocks or debris from bagged soil and compost. It fits about three standard bags at a time, which is convenient. It's also genuinely fun to use. Seeing an even layer go down across the lawn is satisfying, and it speeds up the whole process. It spreads a fairly thin layer, so in some spots I went over it twice to get better coverage.Overall, I'm very happy with it. It makes lawn work faster and easier, and I'd definitely recommend it.

I could not understand the assembly directions so I looked up a YouTube video and figured it out. Other than that it works fine. The pins that hold the pins are flimsy. It took a lot of nasty stuff out of the top soil I was spreading. I'm very happy about that. The photo is debris from two bags of top soil from Lowe's. Home Depot carries the same brand. Its very light. I only have to move the handle to switch direction, very versatile. The four star rating is because of the awful assembly instructions and the flimsy pin.

Was perfect for what I needed and laid a very consistent layer of topsoil!

Great quality with sturdiness, very easy to assemble the parts. Multi purpose use for outdoor seeding, fertilizing the lown.Value for the money

easy to set up.this roller is very solid and sturdy, easy to use.

this is great to load and moves with very light resistance!

worth the price

Overall a good unit. Solid build. The instructions are very limited. I usually don't have any issue with most instructions . But these were bad.

il est bien fait

Easy to assemble and use!I found personally work better by pulling it opposed to pushing it.

Would recommend this as a valuable garden tool. We have a small front yard and I was able to lightly top dress an application of grass seed with a large bag of peat moss in less than ten minutes. Coverage/distribution was even and easy. Of all the garden tools I've used through the years this had me feeling more like a professional groundskeeper than all else. Will use going forward to apply soil amendments quickly and easily. Best results I think with dry screened material so as to allow even passage through the drum's mesh.

Seems fairly good the second grate to attach fits better one way than the other. Havent used it yet but im sure it will work fine. In my search says not to fill over 3/4 full to allow room

Solid construction,a bit timely to assemble but the end product worth the effort and the selling price very acceptable. One point of criticism would be the accompanying hand book. They display all the nuts, bolts etc that are contained thereinBut overall leave you to figure out how and where they go. Solution: pictures of step by step with arrows from nuts to point of fastening. Smooth device, very pleased with purchase. Fred from Canada

Works like it should. Easy to fill from wheel barrow.

They are awesome to use. Spread soil evenly after re-seeding.

I recently purchased this compost spreader, and it has proven to be an exceptional tool for maintaining a healthy, well-nourished lawn. The build quality is impressive, featuring a durable steel mesh construction that ensures long-lasting performance while withstanding regular use. The design is both functional and user-friendly, with a spacious hopper that holds a generous amount of compost, reducing the need for constant refilling. One of the standout features is its smooth, even distribution. The mesh drum ensures a consistent spread of compost or peat moss across the lawn, promoting uniform growth and minimizing waste. The handle is ergonomically designed, providing a comfortable grip that makes maneuvering the spreader effortless, even over uneven terrain.Assembly was straightforward, with clear instructions that made the setup quick and hassle-free. Cleaning and maintenance are equally simple, thanks to its thoughtful design.Overall, this compost spreader has exceeded my expectations. It's an excellent investment for anyone looking to improve their lawn's health with minimal effort. I highly recommend it to homeowners and landscaping professionals alike.

I needed something to spread peat moss over my yard. I tried a fertilizer spreader but it just got clogged up. This works perfectly. The only change I would have made is to buy the larger model as this quickly goes through a bag of peat moss.

Solide, fonctionnel

Excellent tool, so good at spreading top soil when re-seeding lawn.

It does what it says and that's good enough for me. Wish I'd had one of these a long time ago.

It took a bit of patience to line up the bolt holes in the mesh with the side pieces and the little wrench thingies they provide are useless (get a proper one from your tool box) but once that was done, assembly was easy. The spreader worked well at distributing a fairly even depth of topsoil over the lawn. A bit expensive for what it is but a big time saver.

Répand uniformément sur le terrain la terre pour l'enrichissement de votre sol sans des débris et en une seule étape.Le seul inconvénient, c'est qu'il se vide rapidement.

have not tried it yet but see no issues

Bien fait, me paraît solideJ'ai étendu 2verges de terre à jardinJe suis très satisfait

This was the last tool I needed to learn how to grow a lawn. It's easy to assemble and easier to use. It lays down the compost evenly, and the cylinder retains any chunks, making it a nice smooth application. It's sturdy and looks up to the job.

Using the GOPLUS compost spreader to over seed my lawn with a mix of compost and mini white clover.Simple machine, not too difficult to assemble, would have been easier with another set of hands, but not impossible to DIY. All the hardware was there, just a little awkward, but I like putting together stuff like this so I can use thread locker on bolt threads if not locking nuts, and seal gaps with silicone if needed. For the money a good deal and I expect it will outlast me.
