Generally happy with the bike for the money, however I’m awaiting a response from the seller regarding a broken spoke on the front wheel. I’d rather they send a replacement wheel than send than disassemble the bike and exchange it, which I may have to do.
Update: changing to 4 stars from 2. I contacted the seller directly and customer service was pretty acceptable. They offered $50 for me to find a new wheel locally, which I accepted, being that I really didn’t want to disassemble the bike to return the giant box. The $53 wheel I found on amazon was sold out by the time I was purchasing, so endt up spending more like $83, but problem solved I think.

I bought this bike for my child. It was very easy to assemble. After adjusting the seat and handlebar, the fit was just right. The black color is cool. The ride is smooth, and our experience has been great on both streets and gravel paths in the park. The suspension works very well, soaking up cracks, speed bumps, and uneven surfaces so the ride doesn’t feel jarring. The pneumatic tires have solid grip and stay stable at higher speeds.
Shifting is easy to adjust, making small hills more manageable with no missed shifts or chain noise. The brakes are responsive, which lets me feel relaxed and confident while riding. In addition, the paint finish is durable, the frame feels sturdy, and there are no loose parts or rattling. Overall, this is a good-value, easy-to-use bicycle.

Ok enough. My 10 year old first bike with gears. Instructions weren't great, but I'm a fairly mechanically inclined guy so I was able to figure it out.
I found it comical (not in a good way) that it's a mountain bike but there was wording that says it's not for off-road use: EXACTLY what MOUNTAIN bikes are for.
My kid just rides around the neighborhood so it should it fine.

Great purchase. Bike is solid. Easy to assemble. Very pleased! Our son rides it everyday!

The wheels were not aligned, the break cord for the back tire was welded on backwards, missing a screw on the front brake as well. I had to pay 75 dollars to have a bike shop make this bike rideable. Waste of money.
