The backpack is perfect for little ones like 2-3 years old, with the strap, I feel more comfortable travelling with the little kid. The suitcase is low to the ground so it seems safe for toddlers to sit on top. However the plastic is thinner than expected. Also it is carryon so I think that would be ok. Overall I would say this is a good purchase, cannot wait to travel with it.
